A little Fiesta Texas

We all went to Fiesta Texas and it was HOT! But we had a great time. We got to see Jeremy Camp in concert which was awesome.

Karlee and Kade were loving the rides.




This was a picture of Kade right before his first Roller Coaster Ride! and probably last. Holy Cow- I thought this was one I had been on before and if I had known I would not have gone again much less taken my 6 year old!!!

I will stick to the Merry Go Round... and wave pool. Kade held on for dear life. But in the end we survived.

First Field Trip for Kade

Kade's class went to Crow's Nest Farm in Manor.


We had a great time.



It was cool to go to the farm and watch him enjoy some time outside with friends and nature...

First Friend Birthday!

Karlee was invited to her first "friend"- non-family member birthday party! It was for her adorable friend from daycare Lily.

Lily's party was at the park and Karlee had a blast!

Lego Mania and Kade is 6!

Kade wanted a Lego party for his birthday so... that is exactly what he got! We had a blast.

I love non traditional birthday themes! It forces me to get creative. This birthday was very economical- until it came time to buy Legos! :)

It is so hard to believe that 6 years ago on Easter Sunday my baby boy arrived. Happy Birthday Kade!

Boys Tie Shirt

I love to make these Tie shirts and lucky for me my handsome son loves to wear them.

I take a plain t-shirt and draw a stencil on paper of tie, then cut out of choice of fabric. I use iron on material to attach the tie cut from material to the shirt with an iron. Then I sew around the edges of the tie. Simple easy and very cute! My son gets tons of compliments.

Big GIRL!

Karlee is a Big Girl!!! Can you hear me singing? Karlee started daycare on Tuesday! She absolutley loves her new school. We are so proud of her!

Fancy Dinner

For Valentine's Day we decided to stay in, save some money and make our own dinner. It turned out to be one of the kids favorite nights! They named it Fancy Dinner and I think we will have many more in the future.

We dressed up, made steak meat, fondue and cake balls for dessert... yummmmmy! We also dipped everything we could find sweet in chocolate!



Kyle and Steph even stopped by for some Fancy Fun! (Don't worry it's Welch's!)

Makin Valentine's

I am going to try to be better at blogging. With my camera lost most of the time... it will be a fun challenge.

This weekend Karlee got to make her very own Valentine's.... with a little help from Stephanie and Nicole! She had a blast but was not to keen on taking pictures.
